A Quick Introduction
I’m a professional web developer currently working for a start up in London. I manage a fairly large amount of software for a small team of two and a reasonable sized database. To give you an idea of my ethos and methods I run OS X on the desk and Ubuntu on the servers. I primarily use PHP 5, Apache 2, MySQL 5, and Ubuntu, currently Gutsy. The main focus of my writings here will be web programming / MySQL database tuning, Linux and OS X tips with some other stuff, hopefully interesting, thrown in the mix.
I’m also trying to get as much Ruby on Rails as I can done in my spare time. When PHP’ing I prefer Symfony.
